Women comprise 70% of healthcare workers and make 80% of health-related buying and use decisions. Yet remain underrepresented in leadership positions at most health and medical organizations. With a population that’s aging and growing rapidly, Florida faces ever greater challenges to ensure quality healthcare services are available, well-matched, and accessible to those who need them. Learn about current healthcare disparities, challenges, and opportunities for women receiving or administering healthcare, and the potential impact on all of us. Hear firsthand experiences and fresh perspectives of three successful women leaders in public health, medical education, and health services for the uninsured.
