OLLI AT RINGLING COLLEGE, 2020 LISTENING TO WOMEN SERIES TO INCLUDE KASDAN AND OTHER LOCAL WOMEN LEADERS IN HEALTH & MEDICINE
BRADENTON, FL JULY 18, 2019 – A series of six Listening to Women weekly sessions will be hosted by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Ringling College, on a wide variety of topics including one on Women Leaders in Health & Medicine: Improving the Prognosis. Panelist for the health session will include Florida Dept. of Health Manatee County Health Officer, Jennifer Bencie, MD; Florida State Professor and Family Nurse Practitioner, Alicia Craig Rodriguez; and Mission Made Possible, LLC President, Victoria Kasdan RN, MPH.
Listening to Women (LTW) 2019 was the first of its kind in Sarasota that featured a diverse group of exceptional women in the local area who have achieved outstanding success in a wide variety of fields. The 2020 LTW series will build upon last year’s earlier success and provide new topics to inform, inspire and engage the audience. Each week attendees will have an opportunity to focus on a given topic and meet women driven by a common cause and whose passion and determination led to outstanding achievements in their field. Upcoming presentations will be followed by lively discussion on the career highlights, challenges and insight of women whose knowledge, creativity and perseverance have had an impact and influenced lives both locally and globally.
